GREEN, Robert Wilson, lawyer; born in Bedford Co., Tenn.; Scotch-Irish-English and French-Welsh descent; son of William M. and Sarah E. (Casey) GREEN; father’s occupation, farmer; paternal grandparents James and Mary (Smith) GREEN; maternal grandparents R. W. and Jane Finch (Daniel) CASEY; his education was acquired by reading and studying at night, and at spare time from other work; attended the country schools and a few terms at Manchester College; in early life he was a teacher in the country public schools; studied law at home, and was admitted to the bar; now engaged in the practice of his profession at Manchester, Tenn.; member Masons, R. A. M., and Odd Fellows; Democrat; member of Cumberland Presbyterian church.
