(Gettys) FISHER; father was a business man and banker; educated at East Tennessee Wesleyan University, Athens, Tenn.; began business career as teller in Cleveland (Tenn.) National Bank; organizer and cashier First National Bank of Athens; inventor of Fisher Typewriter and Billing Machine; married Alice M. GAUCHER Jan. 9, 1892.
