This is a work in progress
come back often....MaryCarol

Over the past several years,
Jane has been
collecting, for her own personal enjoyment, old photos
of the greater Greenfield,
Tennessee area. Many kind folks around
Greenfield have let her borrow
their prized family photos to scan and be placed in
one of Jane's Photo
Albums. She prints them off in 8x10" size and
puts them into 3 ring
binders protected by plastic covers. Jane saw my
Weakley website,
tracked me down through my cousin Wylodean, and said
she would like to
share her collection so all could see these wonderful
old photos.
I made a special trip up to Weakley County Spring of
2003, had delightful
"Girls Day Out" with Jane, her sweet Mother who fixed
a mouth watering
dinner, and Cousin Wylodean who is also related to
Jane. Then spent
several nights scanning most of her albums. As I
get them web ready,
they will be added to this section, which I am calling
The Jane Pope Collection.
Some of the photos from her collection can be found in
other sections of
my Website...like in Schools, Churches, The Family
Farm, etc.
Thank you, Jane, for sharing! MaryCarol |
