Mrs. Homer Baker Dies In Knoxville  Mrs. Inas Lee Baker, 40, wife of Homer Baker, died at Knoxville hospital Thursday. She had been ill for two years. Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at 1 o’clock at the Mt. Elam Baptist Church. Rev. Clyde McCoy of Knoxville, officiated, and burial was in Long cemetery in Van Buren county. Mrs. J. R. Akers Dies Of Illness; Rites Set Sunday Mrs. Lucy Ann Prudence Akers, 81, widow of J. R. Akers, prominent Centertown citizen for a number of years, died at the Akers home in Centertown Tuesday evening at 9:30 o’clock, following an illness of several years.  Funeral services will be conducted Sunday afternoon at 2 o’clock, at the Bates Hill Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
