Kentucky Rites For Mr. Baker Funeral services for W.A. Baker, former resident of Viola Community, were conducted Thursday afternoon at Gamaliel, Ky., Church of Christ. W.D. McPherson, Church of Christ minister of Atlanta, Ga., officiated and burial was in the cemetery there. Mr. Baker, father of Mrs. Mayhew Peery, died at the home of another daughter, Mrs. McPherson, in Atlanta, Ga., Tuesday. He had been ill six months.
