Byron, Bess, 81, Farmer, Political Leader, Passes Byron Bess, 81, retired farmer and veteran Warren county political leader, died at his home in the 11th district, near Centertown. Services were Tuesday morning at 9:30 o’clock at the Oak Grove Baptist Church. Rev. W.J. Thompson, Baptist minister, officiated and burial was in the Oak Grove cemetery. Former Resident Dies In Texas James William Bennett, former resident of Warren county, died in Dallas, Texas Friday afternoon at 5:30 o’clock, following a heart attack suffered five hours earlier. (Wince) Barnes, 80-year-old resident of Route 6, McMinnville, succumbed to an 18 month illness in Warren County General Hospital at 5:30 a.m Tuesday.  A native of this county and member of the Church of Christ, the World War I veteran was married May 4, 1919 to the former Ruby Ware, who survives.
