Byron, Bess, 81, Farmer, Political Leader, Passes Byron Bess, 81, retired farmer and veteran Warren county political leader, died at his home in the 11th district, near Centertown. Services were Tuesday morning at 9:30 o’clock at the Oak Grove Baptist Church. Rev. W.J. Thompson, Baptist minister, officiated and burial was in the Oak Grove cemetery. Johnny Aubry Barrett, 64, died at his home in the ninth district of Cannon county last Monday, November 8, at 12:15 o’clock.  Funeral services were conducted at Auburntown Wednesday afternoon at 1 o’clock with John W. High officiating. Burial was in the Duggan cemetry.  The deceased was a son of William Barrett and Betty Gannon Barrett and was born February 8, 1884.
