Mrs. J. R. Akers Dies Of Illness; Rites Set Sunday Mrs. Lucy Ann Prudence Akers, 81, widow of J. R. Akers, prominent Centertown citizen for a number of years, died at the Akers home in Centertown Tuesday evening at 9:30 o’clock, following an illness of several years. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday afternoon at 2 o’clock, at the Bates Hill Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Rev. J.E.
