Uncle Isaac Bell, Colored

Died on Tuesday morning, October 14, of paralysis, and was buried in the new cemetery Wednesday morning at 10 o’clock.  Uncle Ike was about 61 years of age, and was well known in this community as an honest, upright and faithful old man.  Few men, white or colored, had or deserved a better reputation for honesty than Uncle Ike.  Others might do well by imitating his example.
