Daylight Community – The Stewart community is greatly grieved by the sudden and unexpected death of Mrs. Silas Beard. She and her husband had visited a son only a short way off Saturday night and had returned and gotten in bed when she suddenly became sick and in two minutes was dead. She lived at her childhood home and well beloved and highly respected and will be missed, not alone by the community, but by the church at Stewarts, where she was a faithful and regular attendant.
