Mrs. Susie Allen Dies Tuesday

Mrs. Susie Geneva Allen, wife of E.H. Allen, died at her home at Keltonburg in DeKalb county Tuesday evening at 9:55 o’clock, following and illness of several months.   She was 73. Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at 3 o’clock at the Keltonburg Methodist Church.   Rev. W.G. Hawkins officiated and burial was in Keltonburg cemetery.    Mrs. Allen, born  April 14, 1878 in DeKalb county, was a daughter of Thomas Jones and Frances Walker Jones and she was married August 5, 1897 to the late B.M. Cantrell. He died April 8, 1929. Mrs. Allen was married to E.H. Allen September 10, 1940 and he survives. Besides her husband, she is survived by two sons, Haskell Cantrell, McMinnville, and Clyde Cantrell, Kelton burg; two stepsons, Nathan Cantrell, McMinnville, and Thurman Cantrell; two step-daughters, Mrs. James Tramel and Mrs. John Redmon. Also a brother, James Jones, Lutz, Fla.
