Gunshot Wound Is Fatal To Veteran            A gunshot wound, self-inflicted at his home near Viola Monday night, proved fatal to Charles Edward Barnes, 31, farmer and World War II veteran.  He died Thursday at 11; 45 a.m. at Thayer VA hospital, Nashville, where he was rushed following the shooting.  Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at 2 o’clock at Old Jefferson Baptist Church in DeKalb county.  Rev.
