Willoughby Cemetery
Located at the end of Trammel Drive where it intersects with King College Road in Bristol, Tennessee. The cemetery is behind the house, on the hill, in a wooded area. The main part of the cemetery is kept mowed. The family who live on the property told us that there were plain field stone markers in the overgrown area next to the cemetery. We were able to see one field stone marker in the brush. She gave information on the now illegible markers. [In the photo, “Overview 2”, the field stones are located to the left of the cemetery in the overgrowth.]
Photographed and transcribed 27 May 2008 by Donna Briggs and Robert Shell, members of the Cemetery Survey Team of Northeast Tennessee.

Best visited in the fall or winter as the vegetation is very dense. It’s a beautiful place which I found thanks to this wonderful site.
