Thomas Fain Cemetery
Located on Hicks Lane, off Bloomingdale Pike in Sullivan County. The cemetery is fenced and well kept. A large marker in the center of the cemetery reads, “In memory of Thomas and Rachel Fain who came to this section in 1840, naming it Arcadia, set aside this spot for the family cemetery. Erected by: Mack L. and Mary Fain Hicks.” There is also a large marker near the center of the cemetery that bears the name “Hicks.” It appears that there was once an inscription on the stone, but it has been removed.
