Old Baptist Cemetery (Netherland Inn)
Located directly behind the Netherland Inn in the Boatyard area of Kingsport in Sullivan County. Old records indicate that in the 1930s, the cemetery was overgrown and used as a pasture for cattle. It is unclear how many graves were here, but only three tombstones now remain. They have been set in concrete and the site is mowed and well maintained.
Photographed and transcribed in March 2003 by Gary Sawyer and Donna Briggs, members of the Cemetery Survey Team of Northeast Tennessee.
