Additional information
Death records indicate that Eddie Ford, son of John Ford and Mariah Hite is also buried here. He was born on 4 Jul 1897, died 18 Sep 1918, of “septicemia and typhoid.”
The book, 100th Anniversary Rock Springs Methodist Church, 1861-1961, indicates that Mary Whitehorn Blakely was one of the first people buried in the Hite Cemetery.
I have been told that my three times great-grandfather is butied in this cemetery along with his wife Elizabeth. Is there anyway I can verify this? Thank you for your help.
