JACOB DECK CEMETERY (STAUBUS CEMETERY) is located on the Staubus farm in Sullivan County, Tennessee, behind the house at 1272 Reedy Creek Road. It is about ¼ mile south of where the Scott County VA and the Washington County VA lines meet the Sullivan County line, and on a branch of Reedy Creek and about 2/3 mile southwest of the Johnson’s Chapel. It is in bad condition, very overgrown with briars and a tree has fallen on one fieldstone.  There were at least twenty-two graves marked by fieldstones and at least three unmarked graves.  The topographical map calls this the “Staubus Cemetery,” but neighbors have always known it as the “Jacob Deck Cemetery.”
