Is there an administrator for the Cox Cemetery to whom you can refer me? Ancestry.com has a certificate of death and a deaths and burials record for John C. Welch which say he was buried at Cox Cemetery on 5 Jun 1932. I would like to verify that. Those records also say his parents were Benjamin Welch and Sarah C. Shipley. The informant was Mrs. Ida Welch.

I’m not sure if you ever got an answer on this question, so I’ll answer anyway. I doubt if your John Welch is buried in this Cox Cemetery. In fact, of all the “Cox Cemeteries”, I’m not sure which one he would be in, unless it might be the Cox Cemetery near Blountville that was moved.
The Cox Cemetery on Fordtown Road is a very small, family cemetery that is in terrible condition. It’s very overgrown and difficult to even get into.
