Old transcriptions indicate there is also a stone for David McIntosh, but it was not found in 2002.

The information below was previously submitted to the website (author unknown):
H. T. Churchwell was a Union soldier in the War Between the States, serving in Company B, 4th Tennessee Cavalry, US. He did not die in the War, as he is found in the 1880 census with wife, E. J. (Henry) who was born in Virginia, daughter, Diannah, and sons, John and George.
He is also listed in the 1900 census of Sullivan County with George and James, two of his sons.
H. T. Churchwell’s daughter, Diannah married unknown Boyer and they were the parents of Charles Boyer, who married Juda. Charles and Juda Boyer are listed in the 1910 census of Sullivan County with the following children: Walter, Rose, Mary and Suda (Cox) and granddaughter, Glennie. Charles’ mother Diannah were also living with them in the 13th district. In 1920, Charles, Judy, Glennie Cox (granddaughter) and Charles L. Unknown (boarder) are found in the 13th district.
John and Melvina Boyer were listed in the 1920 census of Sullivan County, living in the 12th Civil District with their children Willie, Henry, Mattie, Maud and Frances.
