BAKER, Rev. Isaac – Moves to Bristol (1878)
We take pleasure in making the announcement that this gentleman and his family will in a few days, remove to Bristol and permanently locate among us. Mr. BAKER expects to open a male school on or about the 21st of the present month. He comes highly recommended as a thorough and competent teacher, and has an experience of 21 years in this profession. We understand that he was a class mate and room-companion of Dr. SULLINS’ for three and a half years at college, to whom all are referred as to his qualifications as a teacher, &c.
Mr. BAKER was in the Southern army during the late war, and lost a hand at the seige of Vicksburg. He expects to open his school for young men and boys promptly on next Monday, and will make provision for the place of holding during the coming week.
