On 5 September 1957 John C. Crawford III transcribed the following inscriptions in the Hugh Crawford Family burial ground near Holston Institute. The cemetery was located on the farm of J. Matt. Yoakley, Rural Route 3, Blountville, Tennessee, and was very close to a runway of Tri-Cities Airport. Access in 1957 was through the Yoakley farm. Not all grave markers were transcribed.
