Newspapers will often contain not only the basic facts about our ancestors (birth, death, marriage, etc), but will fill in details. Who visited who, social engagements, illness, remembrances of older citizens, etc.

Was the paper’s name really Perry Countain, not Perry Countian? I want to be sure I’m accurate in what I’m writing about someone who wrote for the paper.
