I am contacting you from Brisbane, Australia and I am looking for any records, especially death, for my gggrandfather Jackson Andrew Brackin, and I could not find him in your search database.
He was born on April 23, 1831 in Sumner, Tennessee and I am told he died on April 17, 1872 in Obion, Tennessee. I really need to know what cemetery he is buried in and any other information that is available.
I will be 80 years of age this coming September and I am trying to find this out for my grandchildren before I too pass on. At my age and in my health condition who knows when that will be.
Any assistance you can provide will be greatly appreciated by all the family. If you can suggest where I might find more on him and the family, news clippings, pictures or whatever L would appreciate it. No one has ever been able to find a picture of him. Please email me at jamesmgray [at] bigpond [dot] com
