The Rev. Simpson Weaver, who married Louisiana Dement, was my great-grandfather. He was pastor at several Methodist churches in the Obion County area, including Shady Grove and Chapel Hill. He was the first minister of Chapel Hill (outside Martin) and he, his wife, and several family members are buried there.

I would love to hear from anyone else who has information about his family.
