Crockett Cemetery
On Billy Wood Farm, about 200 yards off Old Hickman-Troy Road in Mt. Ararat Community.
This cemetery contains the remains of an uncle, aunt and cousin of the famous Davy Crockett. Submitted by Phillip Senn <pcsenn (at) charter.net>, a descendant.

| Their son’s tombstone is unable to be read, due to being on its side and covered with a large tree root. The son’s name, according to my mother is Rolla (spelling?) |
That is all of the information I have concerning him. If the tree is ever
up-rooted, I will seek to get the other information at that time. Due to the fact that it is on protected property, I cannot cut the tree root to gather that information.
The adjacent land owner is maintaining the cemetery and has it looking very
presentable.
