In the name of God amen –

I Noah Hedley of the State of Tennessee – Marshall County being in a low state of body, but of sound mind and memory and calling to mind that it is appointed for all men to die I do therefore make and ordain this my last will and testament as follows.

1st I commend my soul to God and my body to the dust to be buried in a Christian like manner at the descretion of my Executors and as to the things of this world with which it has please God to bless me despose of them in the following manner to wit

first that all my Just debts be paid by my Executors out of such goods and chattles as are now to me belonging

2nd I will and bequeath to my well beloved wife Mary McWilliams all my land ammounting to one hundred and 36 acres being two tracts together with all my stock of every description also all my house and Kitcheing furniture farming utentials or what so ever else I am possed. And I do hereby apppoint James Patterson Esqr. & George R. Patterson my sole Executors.

In testimony I have hereto set my hand and affixed seal in presence of on this the 10th day of February in the year of our Lord 1838.
