Distances are derived from certified returns of the Postmasters & Contractors. Latitudinal and longitudinal lines are illustrated along the border. Very similar to Map 143.

Historical Note This map provides a detailed look at the post offices and postal routes of Tennessee towards the end of the 19th Century.
