Sara Lou Elam was born in Bon Aqua, TN on October 4, 1938 to the late Minnie Sullivan and Emmett Elam. She passed away in Nashville, TN on October 7, 2021 at the age of 83.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brothers, Orval Meeker, Wilbur Meeker, Ferrall Meeker, Hubert Meeker, Ward Meeker. She is survived by her daughter, Dana Leigh Elam.

A graveside service for Sara Lou Elam will be held on Tuesday, October 12 at 2:00 PM in the Hudgins Cemetery in Fairview, TN.
