Holloway, Donna K
Ms. Donna K. LaRue Holloway unexpectedly passed away on June 11,2021 at Maury Regional Medical Center. She was born in Hohenwald on June 16,1958 to Mrs. Anita Duncan LaRue and the late Billy LaRue. Along with her father she was preceded in death by her niece Mica Taylor. She was a member of First Baptist Church Springhill and gave her heart to the lord at an early age.
Along with her mother, Ms. Holloway leaves behind to cherish her memory her son Daniel Holloway, granddaughter Karin Elizabeth Davis; and siblings Angela LaRue Atkins, Melody (Mike) Taylor, and Barry LaRue.
Donna had a giving heart. She worked in the nursing field while still maintaining her cosmetology license. She missed her first day of nursing school to sit for her cosmetology boards. Ms. Holloway lived for the precious smiles of the children that surrounded her. She worked at Mother’s Day Out as a pre-school teacher. She loved being around children and treated each as if they were her own. Her true pride and joy was her granddaughter Karin and she cherished the time and memories she was able to make with her. Ms. Holloway loved being outside working on her infamous tan or in earlier years taking a family vacation to Pensacola, FL.
Visitation with family and friends will be held in the chapel of Adair Funeral & Cremation Services on Sunday June 13,2021 from 2:00-4:00 pm. A funeral service will begin at 4:00 pm on Sunday with burial following immediately after at Swiss Cemetery. Brother Nathan Duncan will be officiating.
