Mr. Carl Edward Lomax, 82, of Hohenwald, passed away on Saturday, January 2, 2020, at AHC Lewis County. He was born to Jesse Paul Lomax and Lassie (Sharp) Lomax on September 01, 1938, in Lewis County. Carl married Letha Mathis and they resided in Hohenwald. He worked for the Tennessee Department of Transportation until his retirement.

He is survived by his son, Claude (Michelle) Lomax, of Hohenwald, and two sisters Wilma (L.C.) Bowen & Betty (Wiley) Carroll, of Hohenwald. Five grandchildren: Cody, Michael, Chantel, Felicia, and Mandy & Three great grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held on Sunday, January 3, 2020, at the Topsy Cemetery in Wayne Co, TN at 1:00 PM. Johnny Clayton will officiate.
