Nell Regina Simmons, age 88, born February 13, 1916 in Linden, TN, died April 24, 2004 at Lewis County Manor, Hohenwald, TN. The graveside funeral will be held April 26, 2004 at 2:00 PM. The officiating clergy will be Rex Reed. Burial will take place April 26, 2004 in the Swiss Cemetery, Hohenwald, TN. Visitation will be April 25, 2004 at 5:30 PM. Survivors include her daughter, Brenda Johnson; daughter-in-law, Brenda Simmons Fowler; niece, Wanda Williams; nephews, J. P. Shelton and Bud Tucker; 3 Grandchildren; 6 Great-grandchildren; She is preceded is death by her husband, Ollie Simmons; parents, Joseph and Ethel (Dabbs)Tucker; son, Milton Simmons; Dabbs , Claude and Joe Brown Tucker; sisters, Pauline Whitwell, Freda Epley, and Edith Tucker.
