Mildred Fain Beatty, 97, of Franklin and a former resident of Hohenwald, died Monday, June 8, 2002. Funeral services were conducted Wednesday, July 10, at 10:00 a.m. in the Brentwood Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Ron Becton officiating. Burial was in the Beatty Cemetery in Hohenwald. She is survived by three sons, Cletus L. Beatty of Crain, Missouri, Charles C. Beatty of Lebanon, and Samuel W. Beatty of Manchester; two daughters, Iva Mae Shearer of Greenwood, Indiana, and Ina Rhea Robbins of Franklin; a nephew, J. P. Beatty of Hohenwald, nine grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
