James Benjamin Carrick age 45 of Waynesboro, TN passed away on June 4,2020 at Maury Regional Hospital in Columbia as a result of complications of diabetes. He was born January 31,1975 in Greer, SC to the late Archie and Vera Holt Carrick.

Jamie loved life and lived each day to the fullest. If he had a motto it would have been- “Live, Eat, Travel!” Each life is unique, and Jamie will be sadly missed and fondly remembered.

Jamie was preceded in death by his parents, Archie Carrick of Oklahoma and Vera Holt Carrick Tinajero of Waynesboro, TN, and his aunts, Lena Holt Martin of Clifton and Mary Edith Woods of Greer, SC.

He is survived by his stepfather, Benjamin Tinajero of Waynesboro, TN: uncle, Elmer Holt of Greer, SC and a host of cousins and friends.

A special thanks to his cousin, Tippy and wife Beverly Martin, who opened their home and cared for Jamie for many years.

Jamie’s wish was to be cremated.   A memorial service will be held at his mother’s resting place in Worley Cemetery, Beech Creek, TN on June 20, 2020 at 11:00 am.
