Terry Donald Johns 73, of Hohenwald went into the arms of our Lord and Savior Thursday June 18, 2020. He was born in Lewis County on July 10, 1946 to the late Thomas and Waldean (Voorhies) Johns. Along with his parents, Terry was preceded in death by an infant brother and a younger brother, Pat Johns.

On February 8, 1974, in Linden, TN he married his best friend – Mrs. Linda King Johns. During their lives together they shared many years of making memories at the river with family. He enjoyed heading to the river to piddle around or cast a line and do some fishing. In the mornings he would enjoy sitting with his coffee and enjoying the outdoors. Mr. Terry was a lifelong musician who spent many years playing the piano for The Inman Brothers and the Six Stroke Band.  His greatest joy came from being with family and spending time with his wonderful grandchildren soaking in every moment with them. 

Along with his wife Mr. Johns is survived by his three children, Matt (Chelsea), Amy, and Brian Johns; brothers, Donnie and Thomas Johns, grandchildren, Meah (Dustin Rawdon) Johns, Adree Johns, Chaislyn Runions, Willow Johns, Hunter (Laura) Gobble, Allie Gobble, and Kennedi Potts; and great-grandchildren, Poppy Runions, Arlan Gobble and Barrett Gobble. 

Visitation with the family and friends will be held Sunday, June 21, 2020 from 5:00-8:00 pm in the funeral home chapel. Funeral services will be Monday, June 22, 2020 at 11:00 am with brother Jerry McDonald officiating. Burial will immediately follow in Swiss Cemetery, Hohenwald, TN.
