Clark, Brenda J
On February 23, 2020 Ms. Brenda J. Clark peacefully passed away at the age of 66 at her home surrounded by family. She was born March 17,1953 to Mrs. Mattie Flippo Skelton and the late Herbert Skelton in Waynesboro, TN. Along with her father she was also preceded in death by her husband Mr. Roger Clark; and sisters Patsy Whitehead, and Norma Jones. She was a member of Grinders Creek Church of Christ.
Brenda enjoyed life to the fullest. She was known to bring in bigger deer than her sons when they would set out for a hunting trip. She loved being outdoors and riding horses in her free time. She was well known for her sewing and embroidery skills as she would often embroider pants and shirts for the panther football team. While not outside, Ms. Brenda enjoyed a U.T. Football game or cheering on her favorite quarter back Peyton Manning. She was a big supporter of our local Panther Sports teams often helping with fundraisers. The most important thing in Brenda’s eyes was her family and the time she was able to spend with them. She will be greatly missed by all that have had the privilege of knowing her.
In addition to her mother, Ms. Clark is survived by her children Shane (Stephanie) Clark, David (Stacy) Clark, and Adam (Maranda) Clark; grandchildren Brandon Clark, Sidney Clark, Mycah Clark, Chantel Clark, Zoie Clark, Spencer Clark, and Ty Clark; great grandchildren Amahley, Makia, Mabyn, Holdyn, Sabin, Adysin, and Aurora; and brothers Billy, Lester, and Ricky Skelton.
Visitation with family and friends will be held from 5:00-8:00 pm Tuesday February 25,2020 in the chapel of Adair Funeral & Cremation Services. Funeral services will be Wednesday February 26,2020 at 1:00 pm with brothers Bill Webb and Steve Holloway officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Gardens in Hohenwald.
