James David Cooper, 68, of Leoma passed away on July 23,2020 in his home surrounded by family.  Mr. Cooper was born in Waynesboro, TN on September 12, 1951 to the late Roy William and Wildean (Price) Cooper. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his brothers Donald, J.W., Daryl, Travis, Leroy and Roger Cooper; and sisters Linda Foster, Teresa and Brenda Cooper. Mr. Cooper was described as a dedicated and hardworking man. He was essentially the jack of all trades. Some of his jobs throughout his life were logging, working in the saw mill and working and fixing up cars.  Mr..Cooper enjoyed heading out to the lake in his spare time to fish  and just enjoy the outdoors. James enjoyed spending quality time with his family and making memories that would last a life time.

Mr. Cooper leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife Brenda Lee Cooper; his children Ben (Georgia) Cooper, William (Katie) Cooper, and Charlie (Jennifer) Cooper; a brother Mark Cooper; sisters Gail Smith, Doris Stephenson, and Sheila L; and 11 grandchildren. 

A graveside service is Scheduled for Monday July 27,2020 at Crowell Crossroads Cemetery in Collinwood, TN beginning at 12:45 pm.
