Gertrude Oera Shouse was born on April 25, 1928 and passed away on October 20, 2019 at the age of 91.  A native of Maury County, she graduated from Santa Fe High School. She was the daughter of the late Forest and Hattie Harris Johnson.

She is also preceded in death by her husband James “Wash” Washington Shouse.

She is survived by her daughter,  Mary Beth Pruett, sisters, Helen Lancaster and Janie (Larry) Fox, 1 niece, 3 nephews, 5 great nieces, and 4 great nephews.

Visitation will be Oct, 21, 2019 from 4:00-8:00 PM and Oct, 22, 2019 at 10:00-11:00 AM at McDonald Funeral Home, Inc. – Hickman County. The funeral will be Oct, 22, 2019 at 11:00 AM at McDonald Funeral Home, Inc. – Hickman County.  Burial will take place at Oakmont Cemetery, Centerville, TN.
