David Seth Armstrong was born 5 April 1933 to the late William David and Mary Lou Barber Armstrong and died 27 May 2020 at the age of 87 years.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Armstrong was preceded in death by his wife Jewel Sharon Chandler Armstrong. He is survived by daughters Rhonda (Gene House) Armstrong and Nancy (Ron) Campbell and sons Jonathan Armstrong and Steven (Anita) Armstrong. Mr. Armstrong is also survived by his grandchildren Amy (Rob) Chapman, Hannah (Justin) McClellan, Anna (Jim) Flowers, Katie (Blake) Graham, John (Treasure) Campbell, Zachary Armstrong, Nathaniel Armstrong, Faith (Hunter) Tanner and his great-grandchildren Brayden Armstrong, Capp Armstrong, Teague McClellan, Andie Jayne Armstrong, Luke Chapman, Candace MCClellan, and Will Flowers.

Mr. Armstrong was a math teacher for over 47 years in the Hickman County School System and was an avid farmer, raising cattle, crops, hay, and hundreds of ducks.

In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to Hickman County High School Seth Armstrong Memorial Fund. A memorial table will be set up Friday morning thru Saturday morning at the front doors of HCHS for those that would like to leave a note for the family.

A Graveside Service will be held 30 May 2020 at 2:00 PM at Walker Cemetery, Coble, TN
