He was born in Nashville, TN to Robert and Bonnie Sue Slate Rodgers.  In addition to his parents, he is also survived by his wife, Lorianne Slattery, daughter, Jayden Rodgers, stepson, Michael Slattery, stepdaughter, Sarah Terrell, stepson, Jaden Young, stepson, Trevor Terrell, step-grandson, Josiah Terrell, and sister, Debbie Rodgers.
