Betty Lou Orton, of the Totty’s Bend community, was born June 21, 1931 in the Beardstown community of Perry County, the daughter of Grady Lee and Mamie Coleman Mathis, and died on Feb. 7, 2020 at St. Thomas Hickman Nursing Home in Centerville, at the age of 88.
Survivors include her husband John Orton, Son Mike (Dawn) Orton, Daughter Cindy Jarrell, grandchildren Christopher (Jennifer) Orton, Kayla Orton and Jonathan Jarrell, great-grandchildren Brodie and Brantley Orton, 2 Brothers Jimmy and Danny Mathis.  Visitation will be 8 Feb 2020 from 4:00 – 8:00 PM and 9 Feb 2020 from 1:00 – 2:00 PM at McDonald Funeral Home – Centerville.  The funeral will be 9 Feb 2020 at 2:00 PM at McDonald Funeral Home – Centerville.  Burial will be 9 Feb 2020 at Totty’s Bend Cemetery, Duck River, TN.
