David Thomas Sadoski Sr., age 70, passed away on May 14, 2026. He was born on March 11, 1956, in Shamokin to Edward and Rita Kanicki Sadoski.

David made his way to Tennessee on a football scholarship to Austin Peay State University, where football mattered far more to him than books ever did. Not long after arriving in Tennessee, he met the love of his life, Joanne, on a blind date arranged by Joanne’s brother. The two soon married and built a life and family together.
David spent most of his career working as a mechanic, a trade that perfectly matched his hands-on nature and problem-solving mind. He could fix just about anything put in front of him and was always willing to lend a helping hand to family, friends, and neighbors alike. David loved the outdoors, spending time hunting deer in the fall, turkeys in the spring, and many freshwater fish in the summer.
He will be remembered for his hardworking spirit, his devotion to his family, and the countless lives he touched through his kindness, humor, and willingness to help others. His presence will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
