Ralph Melton Powell was born on October 21, 1940, and passed away on March 15, 2026, at the age of 85.

Mr. Powell was the son of the late James Elton Powell and Minnie Mary Rodgers Powell. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Myra Jane Powell, and eight siblings.

He is survived by his son, Randy Powell; granddaughters, Brandi Astolos and Abbie Powell; great-grandchildren, Koa, Kalani, Emma, Aurora, and Phoenix; and his nephew, Elvis. 

Mr. Powell was an avid fisherman and hunter who enjoyed spending time outdoors.  Visitation with the family will be 20 March 2026 from 4:00 – 8:00 PM at McDonald Funeral Home – Hickman County. 

Funeral Services will be held 21 March 2026 at 11:00 AM at McDonald Funeral Home – Hickman County with burial to follow at Hilltop Cemetery, Lyles, TN.
