Hubert Osteen McCaleb, Jr., lovingly known as “Jr.,” was born on June 4, 1961, and passed away on March 26, 2026, at the age of 64.
Jr. was the son of the late Hubert Osteen McCaleb, Sr. and Elizabeth Burlene Burkhart Horner. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his stepfather, Guy Horner, whose care and guidance helped shape the man he became.

Jr. will be remembered most for the love he had for his family. Time spent with those he held dear meant everything to him, and the memories made together will be forever cherished. He found peace and happiness in the outdoors, especially while hunting and fishing, and there was nothing quite like the freedom he felt riding his motorcycle on the open road. He also had a deep appreciation for his roots and took great care in researching his family’s genealogy, preserving those connections for generations to come.
