Mary Cheryl Atkinson of Centerville, Tennessee, passed away on April 21, 2026. She was born on September 8, 1955, in Nashville, Tennessee, to Blanche L. Daniels and was lovingly raised by her grandparents, Mary and John Daniels.

Mary spent most of her working life at Three Springs, where she served in food services as an assistant manager. She was a dedicated worker who took pride in her role and the relationships she built there. She also attended the Baptist church.

In addition to her mother and grandparents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dennis Atkinson; her brothers, David, Johnny, Earl, and Lee Daniels; and her sisters, Kate Rosson and Carolyn Coleman.

She is survived by her nephew, Johnny Pannell, and her nieces, Sheila Baker and Tammy Jean James.

Mary will be remembered by her family and all who knew her. 

Visitation with the family will be 28 Apr 2026 from 4:00 – 8:00 PM at McDonald Funeral Home – Hickman County.  Funeral Services will be held 29 April 2026 at 2:00 PM at McDonald Funeral Home – Hickman County with burial to follow at Charles L Nickell Memorial Park, Centerville, TN.
