Graham, Diane
Diane Graham, age 78, of Hohenwald, passed away on May 3, 2026.
She was born on October 4, 1947, in Natchez, Mississippi, to the late Percy Arnold and Fannie Huber Arnold. Diane was proud of her upbringing and heritage, raised in a strong Christian home with deep roots in faith. Her father and other family members were preachers, and she often spoke with pride of her grandmother’s Native American heritage.
On Thanksgiving Day in 1965, she married the love of her life, Larry Loyd Graham, Sr. This year would have marked 62 years of marriage. Diane was a devoted wife, a loving mother, and a cherished grandmother who adored her children and grandchildren.
Diane was known for her joyful spirit. She was always smiling, never complained, and remained content with what she had. She found great happiness in simple things-being outdoors, going for walks, and enjoying flowers.
After moving to Hohenwald, Diane began working at Henry I. Siegel’s. Though she was initially hesitant to rebuild her clientele as a beautician, the relationships she formed there allowed her to continue doing what she loved-cutting hair. She later worked as a CNA, where she found great fulfillment in bringing joy and comfort to residents in the nursing home.
She was a faithful member of the Assemblies of God in Hohenwald.
Diane is survived by her loving husband, Larry Graham, Sr.; her sons, Loyd (Tammy) Graham and Brad (Sandy) Graham; her sisters, Sue (Dickie) King of Jackson, Mississippi, and Patsy Woods of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; seven grandchildren, Landon Graham, Lucas (Shelby) Graham, Keeley Graham, Aiden (Mattie) Graham, Zachary (Jordaan) Shaddy, Travis (Charmayne) Shaddy, and Cody (Deanna) Tenison; and ten great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Roger Arnold, and her grandchild, Bailey.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, May 7, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Lewis County Memorial Gardens.
Diane will be remembered for her gentle spirit, her unwavering faith, and the love she shared so freely with all who knew her.
