Kavontrae Michael Bradford Hawkins, a child of joy and love, passed away on February 15, 2026, in Lawrenceburg, TN. He Was born on February 6, 2024, in Columbia, TN. Kavontrae was a vibrant soul whose laughter and enthusiasm for life were infectious. He was the cherished son of Alicia Nicole Bradford, James L. Smith, and Trenton Martin, and a beloved brother to Alexis Hawkins, Sincere Martin, Damien Smith, Neaveh Smith, Malachi Smith, Gabriel Smith, and Brooklyn Smith. He was preceded in passing by his dear sister, Anna Smith; his grandparents, the late Michael Bradford, Nina Ayers, and William Bradford. His memory will also carry on with his grandmother Ms. Sheila Sperduti and uncle Chris Bradford and Aunt Bethany Bradley.
Kavontrae, in his brief time with us, was the embodiment of a loving and spirited child. His days were filled with the simple pleasures of childhood—playing outdoors, where he embraced the world with open arms and a fearless curiosity. His laughter was a melody that resonated in the hearts of all who knew him, and his love for music, especially his favorite tune, “Scooby Doo,” could always bring a smile to his face and to those around him.
Though his years were few, Kavontrae’s impact was profound. We will hold him close in our hearts, remembering his laughter, his playfulness, and the music that moved his soul. Though we will miss him deeply, we are grateful for the time we had with him and the love he shared with us.
