Davidson, Betty Sue
Betty Sue Davidson, born November 2, 1933, in Centerville, Tennessee, to the late Cecil and Margaret Harrington Hatley, passed away peacefully on December 24, 2025.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Billy Davidson; her second husband, Douglas Gray Aydelott; her daughter, Billie Lynn Tyler; her grandson, Brian Davidson; her brothers, W.T., John, James, Hoover, and Cecil Hatley; and her sister, Lucille Simmons, daughter-in-law, Patsy Mays Davidson
She is survived by her children, Teresa (Jerry) Perry, Gary Davidson, and Sandy (Tommy) Barnes; her grandchildren, Corey Warren, Kim Kendal, Brad Barnes, Jamie O’Connell, and Brittney Moulder; nine great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and a whole host of nieces and nephews who loved her dearly.
Sue spent her entire life working in the Centerville community and took great pride in her work as a caregiver, serving the elderly through home healthcare. She had a servant’s heart and found joy in caring for others. Sue faithfully worshiped at Ships Bend Church of Christ.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, December 27, 2025 at Charles L Nickell Memorial Park, Centerville, TN, conducted by Bill McDonald. In keeping with Sue’s wishes, the service will be sweet and short, with the 23rd Psalm to be read.
Sue will be deeply missed by her family and by all whom she loved so deeply.
