Walker, Sandra Kay
Sandra Kay Bogard Walker, age 77, passed away on Friday, December 26, 2025. She was born on February 23, 1948, in Crystal Lakes, Ohio, to the late Homer Bogard and Mary Funk Bogard.
Sandra was a woman whose warmth was evident in her constant smile and contagious laughter. She adored her grandchildren nearly as much as she loved shopping. Belk was her favorite store, and if anyone mentioned going somewhere that might involve shopping, Sandra was known to say, “Hold on, let me get my purse.” These moments reflected her joyful spirit and love for life’s simple pleasures.
She was married for 25 years and deeply valued her family. Sandra proudly served her country as a court reporter for the United States Navy for 18 years.
She is survived by her husband, Robert Walker; her son, Jeffery (Karen) Teasley; her daughter, Lori (Brandon) Justice; and her five grandchildren—Brandon, Ryan, and Connor Teasley, and Morgan and Madison James. She is also survived by her three cats and one dog, whom she adored.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sisters Pat Moeller and Shirley Gardzelewski.
Visitation with the family will be held on Monday, January 5, 2026 from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. at McDonald Funeral Home- Lewis Co. A private service and burial will take place at Middle Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery, Nashville, TN.
