Mary Christine Davis Creasy Bratcher was born December 20, 1935 in Waynesboro, to the late Carl Lynn and Lela Pope Davis.

She was a member of Ray’s Chapel Church. She was a woman of great faith, she loved to go to church and especially loved to sing. She was the kind of person who never wanted to miss church. She could often be found working with her hands, sewing, quilting, cooking and canning. She enjoyed going to yard sales, playing with her grandkids and spending time with her family and friends. She could often be found talking on the phone to her special double 1st cousin, Clara-Nell Vencion. Ms. Bratcher departed this life on Wednesday, July 16, 2025 in Waynesboro, making her stay in this life some 89 years, 6 months and 28 days.

Those left to cherish her memory include her sons, Tony Creasy and Bridget Jones; Greg Bratcher and wife Kelli both of Waynesboro, a daughter-in-law Carole Creasy of Hohenwald, two brothers, Joe Ray Davis and Carl Junior Davis both of Waynesboro, seven grandchildren, Brad Creasy; Michael Creasy and wife Anna both of Hohenwald, Abby Creasy Davis and husband Micah of Waynesboro; Kambria Creasy Smith and husband Austin of Collinwood; Peyton Bratcher; Hanna Dugger; Colin Bratcher and wife Brooke all of Wayensboro; thirteen great grandchildren: Kylie Creasy, Carter Creasy, Cash Creasy, Chloe Creasy, Callyn Creasy, Kye Davis, Coleson Davis, Wyatt Bratcher, Bexlee Bratcher, Leighton Bumphas; Neely Hickerson; Abel Bratcher and Davis Bratcher.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Earl Bratcher; son Johnny Dwayne Creasy; grandson, Jansen Bratcher and a sister, Arlie Davis Mathis.

Funeral services were held Saturday, July 19, 2025 at Bates-Love Funeral and Cremation Chapel with N.J. Pope officiating. Interment followed in the Buchanan Cemetery.
