Armstrong, Jerry B
Jerry B. Armstrong, 85, of Bath Springs, TN, passed away Monday, May 19th, at his home.
Jerry was born January 24, 1940 in Hohenwald, TN to the late Joe B. and Patricia Armstrong. He was a US Navy veteran and was a retired fish and wildlife officer for the federal government. After retirement, he worked some for the Parsons Police Department and then as the armory supervisor for the CCA prison in Clifton. Jerry attended Bath Springs Baptist Church.
Jerry is survived by a daughter, Kelly (Bobby) Harden, of Parsons; a son, Jeff (Charlotte) Armstrong, of Huron; three sisters, Lydia Hinson, of Spring Hill; Johnnie Marie Tharp, of Columbia; Sandra Fielder, of Spring Hill; a brother, Terry Wayne (Winnie) Armstrong, of Hohenwald;
He is also survived by three grandchildren – Caitlyn Harden, of Memphis, Ryan (Ashley) Armstrong, of Finger and Heather (Chris) Greenway, of TX; three great-grandchildren.
Jerry was preceded in death by his wife, Charlene Armstrong and his parents.
A memorial graveside service will be held at a later date and will be announced when time is set.
